The Webster Technique Medical Definition:

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation and sacral-iliac joint dysfunction. In doing so, neuro-biomechanical function of the pelvis is facilitated. Sacral subluxation can contribute to difficult labor for the mother (dystocia) because these misalignments can affect uterine function, pelvic contraction and baby malpresentation. Correction of the pelvis may have a positive effect on all of these.

Yes, in fact it is recommended whether you are having pain or seeking wellness care throughout your pregnancy.

When is the best time to start getting adjusted?

In a perfect world, Dr. Kathy would love to start three months before conception with the future mom. Absolutely! Balancing the pelvis and nervous system is vitally important to a healthy birth, and it is never too late to start treatment.

Does the Webster technique turn breech babies?

No, the Chiropractor's job is restoring balance and nervous function, we do not turn babies or perform the Leopold maneuver.
