Dr. Kathy’s philosophy is to treat the body as a whole, rather than individual parts—this was the inspiration behind the clinic’s name, Unity Chiropractic, and Wellness Center. This outlook is also what led her to study nutrition extensively, and she is skilled at using neurological nutrition to treat specific disorders. When Dr. Kathy isn’t at the o ce, she likes to relax by cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, 5 children, and cat Milo.

Paula Rivera, DC, CSP

Paula Rivera

With 22 years of bodywork experience, Dr. Paula relies on her diverse background and extensive experience to fulfill her patients’ needs, from gentle techniques for stress relief and emotional healing, to pain relief from injuries. Dr. Paula began her work early on in life as a massage therapist, but her drive towards wanting to know more about the intricacies of the bodies in which we live led her to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States.

Although Dr. Paula practices an eclectic style that draws on many techniques and therapies, the ones that resonate the most with her are:

  • Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT)
  • Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
  • Neuroemotional Technique (NET)
  • McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT)

Passionate about giving back to the community, Dr. Paula finds chiropractic mission trips the best way to literally touch the nation one patient at a time.
